Mandatory contact registration at Ascot Racecourse and Belmont Park

The Western Australian Government has announced that particular businesses and venues, including Ascot Racecourse and Belmont Park, will be required to maintain a mandatory contact register of patrons, visitors, contractors, industry personnel and employees from 5 December 2020. Maintaining a contact register is an additional protection measure and one of the most effective ways to control the spread of COVID-19.

The Government has released the free SafeWA contact register app, which can be used to scan QR codes at our venues for fast and simple contact registration. Data will be stored securely by the Government and only be available by authorised Department of Health contact tracing personnel should COVID-19 tracing be needed.

Registration via the SafeWA app will be required on arrival to our venues for all patrons aged 16 years and above. If you don't have a smartphone, you will need to provide your details on a paper-based contact register at the gates. Members will have to scan their Member and Guest cards for entry as well.

If you have a restaurant or function booking, you will also be required to register via the SafeWA app or paper-based contact register as this is a separate data repository and different to our booking systems.

Unfortunately, unless you have registered, you will not be permitted to enter our venues.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward seeing you at Ascot Racecourse.
