Perth Racing operates two tracks - Ascot Racecourse, which hosts meetings from mid October to late April, and Belmont Park, which takes centre stage from early May to early October.
Ascot Racecourse is Perth Racing's summer venue and the home of The TABtouch Masters, the world's first single-track festival featuring a Group One race worth at least $1,000,000 on three consecutive Saturdays. Better Loosen Up, Buffering, Kingston Town, Miss Andretti, Northerly, Ortensia, Takeover Target and Vo Rogue are just some of the Australian turf legends that have been first past the winning post in one of Ascot Racecourse's major races. Reigning Western Australian Racing Owners Association Horse of the Year, Black Heart Bart, is an Ascot Racecourse track record holder having run 1,420 metres in a time of 1:23.72.
Belmont Park is Perth Racing's winter venue and one of the best draining tracks not only in Australia but also the world. Belmont Park is located closer to Perth's central business district than Ascot Racecourse but both tracks are accessible easily and located on the banks of the city's beautiful Swan River.
