Introducing 50 people who made The WATC, a celebration of not only famous names in the history of the Western Australian Turf Club but also unsung contributors to the story of what is known now as Perth Racing.
Perth Racing has trawled through the archives of the Club, the State Library of Western Australia and many other sources to profile 50 of the thousands of people without whose service the organisation would not be what it is today.
Every day for the next 50 days there will be a post about one of the people who made the WATC. The first 40 people will be presented in no particular order before a Top 10 countdown that will conclude on the same day as the Kirin-Railway Stakes barrier draw, Tuesday, 19 November. With a special announcement and celebration to launch The TABtouch Masters and celebrate our great Club.
