Race 1 - 12:29PM AMELIA PARK BEEF HANDICAP (1100 METRES) - FULL FIELD
ON TREND trialled well recently and, with the blinkers on for raceday, he should be settling back and hitting the line strongly. He is a son of Nicconi and the breed are doing very well at the moments with the likes of Caipirinha and State Solicitor flying.
RUBY CAN RUN certainly can. There was a tip around for her last start when narrowly missing and can repeat that here. Good each way value.
JUST ACT NATURAL will lead for a long way of the race. Two recent trials were sharp and should be fit enough to win this.
RED PADDY has never missed a place when first up and can sprint well fresh. Each-way odds make him worth the gamble.

Race 2 - 1:04PM GET THE TABTOUCH PLATE (1100 METRES) - FULL FIELD
DAINTY TESS ran on very admirably last start under the impost of 58.5kg. She gets the relief of the claim here but will have to work hard on speed with pressure coming from everywhere.
LEITFADEN will finally get cover here after being exposed at her last two starts in harder grade. Looks to be right in this from the good draw.
FAERIE WHISPER looked to wobble around the turn after being wide last start. She still battled away to run a nice second. She’ll be finishing off strongly.
SPEEDY LADIDI was tough last start in the same race as DAINTY TESS and FAERIE WHISPER and can improve enough to feature here.

Race 3 - 1:44PM PENFOLDS HANDICAP (2100 METRES) - FULL FIELD
MAGIC ROCKET hit the line strongly last week and goes around again at an each way price.
OUR MATE AL’s three runs this preparation have all been outstanding. He was unlucky to miss out last start behind THE FORGOTTEN ONE but still went well. Looks hard to beat here.
MOSSERATTI’s last two runs have been very impressive. He keeps hitting the line hard and arguably should have beaten Cronkite last start.
DOLUSKY is another one who has been finding the line well. This might be a bit tougher for her but she is in great form.

Race 4 - 2:24PM TABTOUCH-SIR ERNEST LEE-STEERE CLASSIC (1400 METRES) - FULL FIELD
LUSAHA comes down in distance after running a very brave race in the quickly run G2 WA Guineas (1600m). This looks an ideal consolation.
CHIN STRAP got into an awkward position last start in a much weaker race. They went slow in that race but should get the speed to run on strongly here.
CAIPIRINHA is a classy filly but will have to lead them up from barrier seven of 10.
STORED ENERGY has drawn awkwardly but has a sharp turn of speed which may see her figure in the placings.

Race 5 - 3:00PM CROWN TOWERS HANDICAP (1000 METRES) - FULL FIELD
TRAVINATOR carries the top weight but gets the claim of Mollie Clark. Had no luck when scratched at the barrier last time at the races. Is a class above these and is at big odds.
VOLKOFF drops back from Group Three class – form lines which now carry Group One weight. Looks a nice play.
THE RIVER gets the services of Douglas Whyte and should go quite well after getting some confidence back last start when running fourth.
VIKING FORREST loves the 1000m trip. He will be scooting home late.

Race 6 - 3:35PM JAMES BOAG'S PREMIUM HANDICAP (1400 METRES) - FULL FIELD
COMING BACK was excellent last start in the Listed Carbine Club of WA Stakes (1400m) when coming from well back. Down in class suits.
UNIVERSAL LAW had no luck last start in the same race as COMING BACK. He was caught wide and couldn’t finish off. With a cold ride and a bit of luck, this galloper should be finishing off strongly.
DENDEE won last week in emphatic fashion with the light weight of 54kg. She rounded up a reasonably handy field on that occasion. This is harder but she can go well from the good draw.
ANTIQUE DREAM hasn’t shown her best this preparation but should be fit and able to run on.

Race 7 - 4:15PM ASCEND SALES TROPHIES-JUNGLE DAWN CLASSIC (1400 METRES) - FULL FIELD
SHOWY CHLOE had excuses last start after enjoying the run of the race and giving nothing when asked. She pulled up with an elevated heart rate so was a complete forgive run.
COSMIC STORM won last start like only good thoroughbreds do. She came from well back in the Listed Jungle Mist Classic (1200m) and brained a quality field of mares and can do the same here.
I’M FEELING LUCKY can run a race fresh here. She gets all of the favours from the inside draw.
JESTAJINGLE was wide in the Listed Jungle Mist Classic (1200m) and still ran a very good race. Will be near the front again and is a live chance.

Race 8 - 5:00PM PETERS INVESTMENTS-KINGSTON TOWN CLASSIC (1800 METRES) - FULL FIELD
STRATUM STAR has trialled twice since being over in Perth from Melbourne and looks primed for this. The inside draw sees him getting a lovely run in transit.
KAWI gets back to weight-for-age and looks hard to beat after a superb run in the G1 Railway Stakes (1600m) where he arguably should have finished closer.
DISPOSITION is another which gets back to weight-for-age class and looks to be well suited. He ran the fastest last 600m in the Railway Stakes and has to be considered here.
PERFECT REFLECTION won this race last year and was also super last time out when third in the same race as KAWI and DISPOSITION.

Race 9 - 5:40PM PRESETS PERFORMING PERTH CUP - 31 DEC HANDICAP (1400 METRES) - FULL FIELD
PINZU has an excellent record at Ascot Racecourse and looks to get a very nice run in the race with the speed on.
JETOOMY is a stayer resuming and can run a cheeky race fresh from back in the field.
POINT is first up but trialled as though he was very forward. Should go well first up.
INDI PACIFIC is an enigmatic mare that can run poorly in a weak race but well in metropolitan race. She is at handy each way odds here though.
