Perth Racing member Neville Forward's picks had scored fewer than 111 points three quarters through Saturday's Round Four of the PR TipStar - 2019 Belmont Park tipping competition but his selections of Distant Trilogy and Multiverse enabled him to go from being tailed off to winning in three quarters of an hour.
Forward was one of 10 PR TipStar - 2019 Belmont Park Round Four tippers to pick Distant Trilogy but none of them entrusted the Tom Widdeson-prepared gelding with their big bet. Forward staked his virtual $50 each way wager on Multiverse and his faith in the Belmont Park specialist was rewarded like those TABtouch punters who backed the Gary Crispin-trained gelding from 51.00 into single digits. Multiverse has won six of his nine Belmont Park starts, including six from seven over 1,200 metres, so TABtouch's opening quote did not make sense.
