On breeding, Good Fortune should be a superstar.
Her sire is champion stallion and dual Group One winner O’Reilly and her dam is Karrakatta Plate and Sires’ Produce winner Brava Fortune.
On that pedigree, the filly should get better as she gets older and over more ground.
The Neville Parnham-trained juvenile was sound on debut behind Epic Grey at Northam over the unsuitable trip of 1100m.
Out to 1400m is the key factor to seeing the two-year-old improve.
One at long odds which is worth a place or each-way bet.

The Diary ran well two starts ago behind the very fast Dainty Tess before looking plain last time out behind Cool Knight.
Forgive that effort from last start behind Cool Knight when he went too fast in the early stages and was left without acceleration in the final stages.
He can improve with a quieter ride from the inside draw.

6. PRENTICE

Prentice has the best form of any runner on the entire card.
The son of Blackfriars ran within two lengths of Miki Two Toes last start in Saturday benchmark 72+ grade.
Miki Two Toes has since come out and run within four lengths of Group One winner Scales Of Justice in the Group Three weight-for-age Hyperion Stakes.
Effectively suggesting that Prentice is 5 ¾ lengths off Scales Of Justice is ludicrous but that’s the way it reads so those form lines are enough to be tempted about a handy each-way price.
This drop in class for Prentice is ideal after also running within five lengths behind State Solicitor.
