Le Grand Risque winning Thursday 8 July at Pinjarra Racecourse

Allan after mid-week success

Ascot based trainer Martin Allan will be hoping for a big Wednesday with four runners engaged from the stable throughout the seven-race program at Belmont Park tomorrow.

Takemehometonight is a new stable acquisition and has already shown that she can be competitive with three-placings from her six career starts.

She drops back 1000m, has Chris Parnham in the saddle and has drawn barrier three which will allow her to roll forward like we have seen in her races.

Chris Parnham will also ride Le Grand Risque in race 2 for Allan, having won on the four-year-old gelding by Dick Turpin last start.

It was a strong win by the galloper who clearly relished the heavy 9 conditions and was able to show off a strong turn of foot.

Allan will be hopeful that Cape Reign can put in a better performance after finishing last at Belmont Park last start.

The four-year-old was a winner first-up with Clint Johnston-Porter in the saddle demonstrating a strong finish in wet conditions and will also have Parnham in the saddle tomorrow.

In race 6 Paul Harvey will ride Hot Mix which is second-up and out to 1200m. The three-year-old filly by Street Boss has had six career starts for two victories and two placings.

All four of his chances look as though they can play a major part in their race.
