Final Chill chasing a hat trick
Four-Year-Old gelding Final Chill will chase a hat-trick of victories when he steps out at Ascot Racecourse tomorrow.
Prior to his last two starts, the gelding had raced 19 times for only one win and four placings.
Following a good spell, he has demonstrated rapid improvement since stepping out in distance.
In late March he was able to win by 2.4 lengths over 2200m at Ascot and last start by 1.22 lengths in a Jericho Cup Qualifier.
William Pike who has ridden him in both recent victories will stay in the saddle and will jump from barrier 4.
With plenty of rain around in Perth to start the week, his ability to race on a soft track could also improve his chances of making it three wins in a row.
