Indian Pacific looking to dictate Miss Andretti Stakes
The Group 2 Perth Cup winning combination of Neville and Chris Parnham will be looking to continue their strong recent form when they combine with Indian Pacific at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday.
Indian Pacific opened as the short-priced favourite for the $100,000 Listed Miss Andretti Stakes (1100m) following his dominant victory in the Listed Summer Scorcher a fortnight ago.
The four-year-old gelding by Zoustar has built up an impressive racing record with seven victories and three placings from his eleven career starts, with the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes being the only time he has not finished in the top three.
With his blistering speed out of the gates, Indian Pacific looks set to dictate terms over the 1100m and get the run to suit him.
While he will likely remain as the short-priced favourite until they jump, the field has good depth to it with three other runners also having competed in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes.
