Miss Andretti Stakes winner Caipirinha returns to racing at Belmont Park on Saturday

Punting Form race reports - Saturday 4 August

Caipirinha is named after Brazil's national cocktail and, according to Punting Form, her connections, including owners Barry and Jan McRostie, have a favourite's chance of raising a toast to her following Saturday's New Season Sprint over 1,000 metres at Belmont Park in which she makes her reappearance off two trials.

The McRosties decided to name one of their gallopers Caipirinha after sampling a cocktail while cruising from Australia to South Africa on the Queen Mary and the five-year-old mare has won more than $400,000 in prizemoney. Caipirinha has won over 1,000m, 1,100m and 1,200m but Punting Form rates 1,000m as her optimum distance and her two-year personal best is the finest of the New Season Sprint competitors, hence why she is its favourite on its exclusive neural prices.
