More two-year-olds for Fernie

Ascot-based trainer Luke Fernie will look for more success with his team of two-year-olds with two runners at Ascot Racecourse on Wednesday.

Fernie won the two-year-old Magic Millions with Sheza Belter, he won the Listed Perth Stakes on Saturday with Left The Building and he’s also tasted success this season with Costume Party and Man Crush.

Clint Johnston-Porter rode both winners of the Magic Millions and Perth Stakes and will take the ride on Sweep The Leg.

The two-year-old colt by Japanese sire Maurice has had two trial and looks to have nice ability. He will jump from barrier seven in a full field.

The second of his runners in the race is Just Got Paid who will wear the same silks and be ridden by Jordan Turner.

This two-year-old colt by Starspangledbanner has only had the one trial and will make his debut with the blinkers on from barrier 6. He is emergency one, so will need a scratching to take his place in the field.
