Heavenly Waters at Ascot

Rogers hopes to keep winning ways

Roy Rogers has had a season to remember in Albany and the form from down south has also seen him win plenty of races in town.

Rogers will be hoping for more success with his juveniles when he brings three runners to Ascot on Sunday for the Listed Supremacy Stakes (1000m).

Heavenly Waters, a filly by Headwater appears to be the best of his three chances, with her winning the Crystal Slipper at Ascot last November and finishing second in her last two starts, including the 2yo Magic Millions at Pinjarra Park last start.

Hoi An comes into the race off a nice victory at Bunbury last start, the filly by Longma finished third in her only other start in town but will have to overcome a wide barrier.

Snippagem is the final of his runners, this filly by Snippetson was not beaten too far in town two starts back and despite finishing tenth last start in the 2yo Magic Millions, she was only beaten 4.5 lengths.

Rogers in the only trainer with three runners in the field, Daniel Morton and David Harrison will saddle up two runners each.
