Without Reason recorded an excellent Punting Form rating in winning at Ascot Racecourse two weeks ago
Without Reason has drawn a sticky gate for Wednesday's PSC Insurance Handicap at Ascot Racecourse but, if he reproduces the Punting Form rating he recorded in winning the TABtouch - Better Your Bet Maiden at the venue two weeks ago, he will take a lot of beating as he bids to post another 1,600 metres victory.
According to Punting Form, Without Reason's TABtouch - Better Your Bet Maiden triumph was the highest rating performance of the Ascot Racecourse meeting on Wednesday 23 January and it is worth noting Macroy, which registered a figure 5.7 lengths inferior during the same meeting, made the leap from midweek to prime grade on Saturday. Giving five kilograms and a beating to Princess Pierro was a really good effort by Without Reason and he did not go unbacked, either.
