Taxadermy is likely to improve fourth up on a dry Belmont Park track on Saturday
Taxadermy has posted three consecutive fourth placings this campaign but the Lindsey Smith-trained, Glenn Smith-ridden tough customer should be the favourite for Saturday's Legrand Galaxy Handicap, according to Punting Form.
Part owned by Perth Racing board member Rod Lukatelich, Taxadermy is likely to relish striking a good-rated track for the first time since his first-up fourth behind Bella's Idol, Geiger Gem and Red Army on Saturday 30 June. Taxadermy strung together four wins in a row from late 2017 to early 2018 so he does not shirk a challenge, his Punting Form two-year personal best rating is the finest on offer among the Legrand Galaxy Handicap field and he maps well from the inside gate, either leading or sitting just off the speed.
