Verdello Blue (left) finishes second to Jetoomy at Belmont, on August 5.

Under the radar: Belmont Park - Saturday 30 September

Expected weather: Partly cloudy, 22 degrees.

Expected track rating: Soft 5

Race 2: 1.27pm - TABtouch Maiden - (1200m) – Bet with TABtouch

10 VITAL TOUCH (TABtouch opening price: $9)

Vital Touch’s first-up run over 1200m a fortnight ago was absolutely beauty. She was off the track the whole way with no cover, at times three and four deep, and yet she kept finding in the run home to finishing fourth.

She jumps from barrier eight here so will need luck here again, but gain some cover, and see clear air in the straight, and she’s in with a big show.

REPLAY - VITAL TOUCH (4th) - 16 September 2017 - Race 2 - 1200m – Belmont Park

Race 3: 2.07pm - Perth Racing Club Membership Plate (1000m) – Bet with TABtouch

9 GET THE VIBE (TABtouch opening price: $12)

We’ll find out if this filly is up these here.

She’s been forced to go back from wide draws her past two runs, and has run home evenly both times, off okay tempos.

She was far from an eye-catcher behind stablemate Dynamite Dream last time round, but the numbers align here. She finally draws an inside gate in three, which should see her get a gun run on the speed, and she’s third-up, so should be striking peak fitness.

She’s currently twice the quota of Dynamite Dream, and could be longer come jump time.

REPLAY – GET THE VIBE (7th) – 16 September 2017 – Race 5 – 1000m – Belmont Park

Race 5: 3.28pm - The TABtouch Masters 25th Nov - 2 Dec - 9 Dec Handicap (2100m) – Bet with TABtouch

5 VERDELLO BLUE (TABtouch opening price: $14)

Not the on top selection here, but hard to see how War Ksar is 5s and Verdello Blue is 14s.

Verdello Blue sat three to four pairs closer on a frantic speed set by Reef Keeper over the 2000m last start, and only finished half-a-length behind War Ksar by the finish.

The grey does jump from Gate 10 while War Ksar is drawn in four, but Verdello Blue benefits from a 1.5kg weight swing.

Lock in another win for the 11yo? Certainly not. But is this something to consider? Surely.

(REPLAY) – VERDELLO BLUE (5th) – 16 September 2017 – Race 8 - 2000m – Belmont Park
