WA Apprentice Jockey Support Fund
The Carbine Club of WA and Perth Racing will each contribute annually to an Apprentice Jockey Support Fund. The purpose of the fund is to financially support apprentice jockeys, where financial support will make a difference in enabling them to progress in their training to becoming a licenced jockey.
The fund will be jointly managed by the Carbine Club and Perth Racing, with advice provided by the Western Australian Jockeys Association. Apprentice jockeys requiring support may be identified by racing participants and there will also be application forms available on the Perth Racing Website.
The Carbine Club of Western Australia and Perth Racing look forward to being able to assist the jockeys of the future in their career pursuit - to one day be a champion jockey!
