Parnham brothers to do battle again

Chris and Brad Parnham will be at battle again on Saturday when they sit on their mounts in the Listed Sheila Gwynne Classic (1400m) at Ascot Racecourse.

Brad will be riding Amasenus for trainer Simon Miller, while Chris will be aboard Buzzoom for regular trainer Daniel Morton.

These two battled down the straight last start in the Majorie Charleson Classic, with Amasenus finishing the better of the two.

Stepping out to the 1400m should favour Buzzoom who has had three starts at the track and distance for two victories and a second, while Amasenus has never won further than 1200m.

The race brings in some very different form lines outside of the pair, with Jadavi dropping back in distance from her victory in the Listed Pinjarra Cup (2300m), Watch Me Dance and Cryptic Love coming from a 78+, Lipstick Flickers and La Farola both stepping up from 72+ grade and Dee Keepa backing up after a Class 3 victory last weekend.
