Improving four-year-old gelding Iseered Iseered is ready to take the next step when he takes his place in the Nicopolis Stakes (1200m) at Belmont Park on Saturday.
The gelding by Safeguard has won four of his last five starts and has continued to rise through the grades impressively.
This preparation both of his victories have been over 1000m, while he has also won three races over 1100m.
He has had two starts over the 1200m and was unplaced in both of those races as a three-year-old earlier this year.
Jockey Paul Harvey has shown how highly he rates this galloper by getting his weight down to 55kg last start and will again stick with him this Saturday.
It looks to be a competitive edition this year with six runners opening under $10 with Iseered Iseered the early favourite.
