Parnham to launch missile

Trainer Neville Parnham is set to launch Flying Missile at Ascot Racecourse tomorrow in the 2yo Glenroy Chaff Plate (1100m).

The filly by Cable Bay and out of Magnus Missile has had the three career starts for three placings, including a third in the Crystal Slipper back in November.

With the form lines from her first preparation holding up in Group company, her recent trial over 400m suggested that she was ready to go for this first-up assignment.

Drawing barrier 2, Flying Missile was launched into by punters, with the $2.50 she opened at taken immediately, she is now as short as $1.25 with some bookmakers.

If she can be as dominant as the market suggests, a place in the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate (1200m) on April 3 may be her next destination.
