Midnight Blue (William Pike) win at Ascot Racecourse 21 November 2020
The G.A Towton Cup is expected to be dominated by the cerise and white on Saturday when the field steps out over 2200m.
With many of the field hoping to demonstrate their Perth Cup credentials, Midnight Blue and Royal Command have opened as the short-priced favourites.
Midnight Blue will be ridden by William Pike, while Royal Command will be ridden by the most recent Group-1 winner Chris Parnham.
Midnight Blue will be looking to add to an already impressive campaign, which has seen the four-year-old gelding win two of his last three starts, while Royal Command turned his consistent placings into a dominant victory last start over 2100m.
The cerise and white will also be well represented earlier on in the day in the Crown Perth 72+ 1800m handicap where they have True Attraction, Morning Song and Mystery Miss.
