Chris Parnham and Secret Plan at Belmont Park, 2 September 2020
The mid-week card at Ascot is a competitive one, with the shortest price favourite coming up in the last race of the day, Secret Plan.
The three-year-old gelding by I Am Invincible impressed on debut with a dominant victory, before finishing fourth off 45 days last start and losing no admirers.
With a strong bunch of three-year-olds this season, the Class 3 1200m looks a nice option with Chris Parnham staying in the saddle and potentially building momentum into some of the feature three-year-old races available during the TABtouch Masters Series.
Dad’s Bighead is the other three-year-old in the race who was well held first-up, but did improve dramatically after his first-up run last preparation.
