Durrant pair headlines Northerly Stakes

Leading trainer Adam Durrant headlines the Group 3 Northerly Stakes with Massimo and Money Matters.

The pair were one-two in the market for the Hannans Handicap, before Massimo was a late scratching handing his stablemate the victory.

Inform hoop Clint Johnston Porter elects to ride Massimo again who’s drawn well, while we see a jockey swap with Peter Hall will ride Money Matters and Joe Azzopardi riding Vital Silver.

Vital Silver who finished second last year’s Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes will certainly make them earn it and has shown he’s building nicely into the preparation.

Group 1 Kingston Town winner Kay Cee returns, and while it may be too short for her, she’ll be a serious contender in the Group 1 Railway Stakes and the Kingston Town.
