TABradio host Digby Beacham (left) and his fellow connections have reasons to be confident about D'Orsogna Handicap runner Plutocracy

Punting Form race reports: Saturday 14 December

TABradio host Digby Beacham is one of Plutocracy's owners and the media personality known as Diggers is likely to be celebrating during Ascot's Biggest Christmas Party meeting because TABtouch blog columnist Scott Embry is tipping the aforementioned Simon Miller-trained gelding to win the D'Orsogna Handicap.

According to Embry, Plutocracy went straight into hundreds of blackbooks when he was held up the entire length of the home straight bolting behind Guns Of Navarone in this grade two weeks. William Pike jumps aboard Plutocracy for the first time and the pair have drawn a central gate, mapping to get a good run behind the likes of Copper Fury, Rebel Yell and Speeding Comet. According to Punting Form, Plutocracy's two-year personal best is the most impressive of Saturday's D'Orsogna Handicap field and he posted decent numbers first up despite not seeing much daylight in the straight under Chris Parnham.
