The Run of the Race: Episode 56

Punting Form rated McEvoy Mitchell Racing-trained galloper Hey Doc's Crown Perth-Winterbottom Stakes run as the best performance in the Group One sprint since Takedown had his excitable conditioner, Gary Moore, dancing with delight following 2016's vintage edition of the race.

According to Punting Form, Tony McEvoy, Calvin McEvoy and their team have managed to get Hey Doc back close to his very best; his Crown Perth-Winterbottom Stakes rating of -11.3 was only 0.4 lengths below his second highest rating, which he achieved when just failing to win first up.
