What About Moses (light blue and red colours) just failed to fend off Lookout on his reappearance

Punting Form race reports: Wednesday 21 August

What About Moses made an excellent return to racing when he finished runner-up in the Westspeed Platinum Handicap at Belmont Park on Saturday 10 August and he finds himself in a winnable race second up at the same venue on Wednesday.

Steve Wolfe, whose team has hit form in the metropolitan area following its lengthy spell in the city doldrums, was delighted with the reappearance of What About Moses but the gelding did overrace in the straight so he will compete in winkers instead of blinkers in his upcoming event. According to Punting Form, What About Moses boasts the best last-time-out rating of Wednesday's Crown Perth Handicap field and it was only half a length off his two-year peak performance, indicating he is in very good order. Shaun McGruddy will ride What About Moses again and Shooter has started the new season as well as anyone in the jockey ranks.
