The Fugazi and Shaun McGruddy gapped their Crown Perth Handicap rivals last time out

Punting Form race reports: Saturday 10 August

Fugazi may not be a real word but the Chris Gangemi-trained gelding named after a phrase that pops up in several Hollywood films, including Donnie Brasco and The Wolf of Wall Street, is a real galloper and, according to Punting Form, he merits TABtouch favouritism for Saturday's Mark Shreeve 50th Birthday Handicap.

The Fuzagi has won both of his two races since resuming last month without a trial and his Crown Perth Handicap-winning performance at Belmont Park two weeks ago was terrific, earning him a Punting Form personal best of -5.3 lengths better than benchmark. The Fuzagi's last-start rating is the pick of Saturday's Mark Shreeve 50th Birthday Handicap field and, while Snowchino maps well and she caught everyone's eye on her latest appearance, break down Punting Form's numbers and it is clear she will have to improve to get the better of her major market rival. Each of the last four gallopers highlighted in this series of articles - Essential Spice, Next Stop The Moon, Uni Time and Three Secrets - has won, paying TABtouch tote dividends of 1.70, 2.20, 3.70 and 2.50 respectively.
