Playing Marika and Troy Turner have combined for three wins from their five starts together
Punting Form's neural prices rate Playing Marika as the favourite for Wednesday's Schweppes Handicap at Belmont Park and she has an excellent chance of making it four wins from six starts when she tackles the contest over 1,300 metres.
Playing Marika won each of the three races in which she competed during her first preparation and she had a genuine excuse for her well beaten sixth result behind Flirtini in a Saturday event on the D'Orsogna Italian Day card at Ascot Racecourse. Playing Marika returned to the unsaddling area mildly lame in her off fore with myositis to her near shoulder. Two weeks ago Playing Marika returned and she placed second in a Belmont Park midweek affair, albeit a long adrift of runaway winner Gates Of Babylon. Playing Marika's last-start Punting Form rating is better than any of her Schweppes Handicap rivals and so is her two-year personal best.
