According to Punting Form, Route Eighty Eight ran her best-ever rating when she finished second behind My Demi at Ascot Racecourse and she looks well placed to springboard off that effort and win Wednesday's Events At Ascot Handicap.
Double Bubble and Soy Tan Rapido have franked Route Eighty Eight's recent trial form and she was a whisker away from catching My Demi in the Amelia Lamb Handicap two weeks ago at Ascot Racecourse. Route Eighty Eight sticks at 1,000 metres and any number of statistics suggest five furlongs is her ideal trip and, on paper, there should be sufficient early tempo in the Events At Ascot Handicap to enable Lucy Warwick and her fellow female racer to get a good run in transit.
