Freo and his connections are likely to be smiling at Ascot Racecourse for the second Saturday in a row

Punting Form race reports: Saturday 24 November

To steal a line from one of the Australian Football League's most polarising club songs, Freo is the way to go in the Carbine Club of WA Stakes, one of nine races on Kirin Railway Stakes Day at Ascot Racecourse as The TABtouch Masters begins.

Freo has run almost identical Punting Form figures in winning each of his last two races and he made those punters who believed he was under the odds to take out the RJ Peters Stakes last weekend eat their words by being victorious in the Group Three contest. The RJ Peters Stakes winner is ballot exempt for the Kirin-Railway Stakes but Freo was not among the nominations so the Group One event was not open to him and, consequently, he drops back into a Listed-level race. Most of Freo's Carbine Club of WA Stakes rivals are either fresh or out of form and, therefore, he should be the favourite to win the clash over 1,400 metres.

Perth Racing is committed to providing punters with the best possible free data to enable them to bet with confidence on the club's races with TABtouch, the brand that funds the industry. That is why Perth Racing is partnering with Punting Form, which clocks and rates almost every performance on Australian tracks. You can download the Punting Form race reports for all nine Ascot Racecourse races on Kirin Railway Stakes Day. Back your favourites with TABtouch and better your bet.
