Perth Racing AGM and Director Election results
Perth Racing held the Club’s 2018 Member Annual General meeting yesterday Monday 22 in the Directors Lounge at Ascot.
Quorum was achieved and the Chair Mr Colin Brown opened the meeting at 4.00pm.
Results of the Perth Racing Director elections was announced with Mr Colin Brown and Miss Paula Sullivan being returned to the Board and Mr Ron Sayers was elected to his first term on the Perth Racing Board.
Colin Brown thanked Members for voting in the Club elections and welcomed Mr Sayers to the Board.
The Members were presented with an update of audited financials for year ending 31 July by Colin Brown and Managing Director, Professor John Yovich AM detailed the status of Belmont redevelopment.
Following the presentations there was an opportunity for Members to question the Annual Report and the presentation. There were a number of questions from the floor and the Q&A session with the Board and Members went for an hour.
The meeting was formally closed at 5.30pm and Members and Directors were able to share afternoon tea
The Perth Racing Board of Directors subsequently met this morning Tuesday 23 October to vote on Chair and Vice Chair Roles. Mr Colin Brown was returned as Chair and Miss Paula Sullivan returned as Vice Chair.
