Reykjavik (club colours of white, blue and gold) finished second behind Turbo Power at Belmont Park two weeks ago

Punting Form race reports - Saturday 25 August

Reykjavik owes punters who have backed him in each of his 21 races having won just twice at relatively short odds but he gets a good chance to post his third victory when he lines up in Saturday's Magic Millions Handicap at Belmont Park.

According to Punting Form, Reykjavik boasts not only the most impressive two-year personal best of the Magic Millions Handicap field but also his last-start performance was a fair bit better than any of his fellow acceptors for Saturday's 1,400 metres contest. Reykjavik and Lucy Warwick are set to jump from gate 10 of 12 but there is not a great deal of natural speed engaged in the race and he maps as coming across with Rogan Scent, which resumes under Steven Parnham.
