According to Punting Form, The Nicconian went to a new level last time out and, consequently, his two-year personal best is superior to his Perth Racing Club Membership Handicap opponents, albeit by a slim margin. That said, Punting Form's sectional times suggest The Nicconian may be better suited to 1,000m and, after all, he did break his maiden over 930m at Narrogin in January.
