The in-form combination of trainer Simon Miller and jockey Patrick Carbery look to have another reason to follow them with two-year-old gelding Givemeonereason stepping out at Ascot Racecourse on Wednesday*.
In the last twelve months Carbery and Miller have combined 113 times for 21 winners at 18.6% with a 37.4% return on investment.
Givemeonereason, a two-year-old gelding by Magnus, has had the two trials this year for two victories and will jump from barrier 6 on Wednesday.
The gelding will be one of five without race day experience in the eight-horse field and looks to be one of the leading chances.
The pair had success on Saturday with the talented two-year-old Amelia’s Jewel stepping out on debut and winning the Listed Supremacy Stakes by 2.2 lengths.
The pair will also combine with Time Scale in race 3, Lexington City in race 4 and Michelada in race 5.
