Kissonallforcheeks prepares for interstate assault

Talented four-year-old mare Kissonallforcheeks will return in the Listed Cyril Flower Stakes (1200m) before potentially heading to New South Wales to continue her preparation.

Having been placed in Group 1 action on multiple occasions last preparation, the four-year-old by Written Tycoon will carry 60.5kg, 4.5kg more than any other rival.

The mare has shown versatility in the past, winning over trips as short as 1100m, but also showing ability all the way up to 1800m.

Group 1 winning jockey Brad Rawiller was booked to ride the mare first-up, however, after his fall at trials on Tuesday, Paul Harvey has been named to replace him.

Following this weekend, she may head to New South Wales for the remainder of her preparation, with some nice races throughout the Sydney Championships.

Kissonallforcheeks isn’t the only horse from the Daniel Morton stable about to embark on some travel, with Stafford’s Lad scheduled to head to South Australia to tackle the Adelaide Cup.

Brad Rawiller who has been replaced, had some good news with scans confirming that he has no fractures or breaks and will be back sooner than first thought.
