Double chance for Oakland Park

Oakland Park Stud will saddle up two chances at Belmont Park on Wednesday in the Crown Perth Maiden over 1200m.

Garage Days and Anna’s Boy have both accepted and look to be strong contenders following their most recent performances.

Garage Days is a four-year-old gelding by Sessions, trained by leading trainer Adam Durrant, who has had ten starts and placed on eight occasions.

His first-up run this preparation was full of merit, making up late ground over 1000m to finish 1.9 lengths behind Nights Mystery.

The extra 200m looks ideal with Clint Johnston-Porter remaining in the saddle and jumping from barrier 9.

Anna’s Boy is a three-year-old gelding also by Sessions, having her second career start having finished 4 lengths behind Heavenly Waters on debut.

He is another that should be suited by the extra distance and the Pearce brothers have gained the services of leading jockey William Pike.

Drawn in barrier 2, Anna’s Boy should get the perfect run just behind the leaders.
