PERTH RACING COVID 19 UPDATE PERTH CUP

Adhering to the State Government’s public health and social measures means about 8000 people will be able to enjoy the day and celebrate together as safely as possible.

Perth Racing acting CEO Stuart Crockett said: “Perth Racing will be running the same world-class racing while serving premium food and beverage in a safe environment.

“We look forward to welcoming all our guests to this iconic Western Australian event,” Mr Crockett said.

Additional measures to be put in place for Perth Cup include mandatory mask in all indoor and outdoor settings at the racecourse – except for jockeys while race riding.

During the event, guests will enjoy seated food and beverage consumption only.

We will also trial proof of vaccination requirements to supplement the existing public health requirements.

All individuals attending Perth Cup must provide proof of being double dose vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes all patrons, staff, contractors, volunteers and industry participants.

Guests who are planning to celebrate New Year’s Day at Perth Cup can show either their COVID-19 digital certificate or print out a vaccination history statement to be shown with a valid form of ID.

Details of how to get proof of vaccinations are available on the WA Health website here.

For guests who are not double vaccinated or would prefer not to celebrate with us at this time, a full refund will be given. Guests should apply to Perth Racing in writing by 3 pm Friday 31/12/21 by emailing: restaurants@perthracing.com.au
