Rebel Queen

Impressive Racing in the zone

Three-year-old filly Rebelzone will be hoping to make it two-from-two when she steps out at Ascot Racecourse on Wednesday in the Parvate Collective Handicap (1200m).

The filly, which is out of the dam Rebel Queen, a two-time winner for Impressive Racing when trained by Darren McAuliffe, was an impressive winner at Kalgoorlie over 1100m on September 30.

Like her mum, Rebelzone will be hoping that she can taste success at Ascot, with Rebel Queen winning at the track back in 2014.

The form from her victory in Kalgoorlie has been franked with Talk It Up who finished second in the race, being beaten narrowly again a few days later in the Kalgoorlie round.

Chris Parnham will take the ride from William Pike, with Pike booked for the cerise and white runner Mystery Moment, which also looks to have well above average ability.

From barrier 1, the filly by Territories should settle midfield and then hope to let down strongly like she did on debut, when she ran the fastest last 600m of the race in a time of 33.52.

Impressive racing will also have Recalled running at Ascot who finished second at Kalgoorlie last start.
