He's A Sizzler

Ready to Sizzle

Imposing three-year-old gelding He’s A Sizzler will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories when he steps out in the Class 1 Handicap (1200m) at Belmont Park on Wednesday.

By Sizzling, the Daniel Morton-trained galloper broke through for a well-deserved victory last start to add to his previous runner-up finishes.

The form from the 3yo Plate that he was victorious in has been some of the stronger form lines for that age group and should set him up nicely for a clash with the older horses here.

He’s A Sizzler has already shown that he can carry weight, finishing second two-starts back with 60kg over 1400m in a race where he was forced to sprint off a slow tempo.

This race also doesn’t appear to have a lot of tempo, so leading jockey Chris Parnham may need a little bit of luck through the early stages to slot in from barrier 8.
