Celevacci winning Wednesday 11 August 2021 at Belmont Park Racecourse

Debutants stepping out for Durrant

Leading trainer Adam Durrant will be hoping for some more success at Belmont Park on Wednesday when he has a few more debutants step out.

Last week, Celevacci and Secret Deploy made their debut for the stable and were able to both taste victory with Clint Johnston-Porter in the saddle.

Finest Clobber (race 1), Kandaka (race 2) and Minno (race 3) will all be having their first starts on Wednesday and all to be ridden by Johnston-Porter.

Finest Clobber has trialed impressively this prep and looks to be a speedy filly by Zoustar. She will only carry 53.5kg in race 1 and will jump from barrier 4.

Kandaka was green in a recent trial, showing plenty of ability but running down the majority of the Lark Hill straight with her head facing sideways.

Minno finished behind Celevacci in a recent trial, as mentioned, Celevacci was a winner last week, and the filly by Safeguard will jump from barrier 5.

Both Durrant and Clint Johnston-Porter have started the new style impressively, both with seven metro winners already and both combining for success regularly.
