Bam’s On Fire is back in Western Australia where it all began and will take her place in the Group 3 Iron Jack – Belmont Sprint (1400m) at Belmont Park on Saturday.
The talented mare finished third in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes (1100m) back in 2018 before eventually making her way over east.
It was a successful journey for her where she found herself winning a Group 3 Vic Handicap at Caulfield, finishing third in a Group 1 Sangster and finishing runner-up in the Group 2 Sunline Stakes, Group 2 Matron Stakes and Group 3 Mannerism.
Having struggled since her Group 1 placing back in May 2020, connections have decided to send her west to Neville Parnham, a formula that has recently worked for this ownership group.
The now five-year-old mare will have to overcome a wide barrier but does have Paul Harvey in the saddle for her first-up assignment back in WA.
