Uni Time (right) running in the Kirin-Railway Stakes, Saturday 21 November 2020
Five-year-old gelding Uni Time will be hoping to replicate his career best performance in the Group 1 Kirin-Railway Stakes when he takes his place this Saturday in the Group 1 PeopleStart-Kingston Town Classic.
Jumping at $101, Uni Time turned for home in last position in the Railway Stakes but was able to run the fastest last 600m of the race to finish third.
It was a career best performance for the gelding by Universal Ruler whose best accomplishment prior to that performance was a Listed win in the Carbine Club at Ascot late last year.
Jason Whiting is booked to ride Gemma’s Son this start for David Harrison, so regular rider Alan Kennedy will be back in the saddle.
Having ridden him in thirteen of his eighteen career starts, Kennedy knows what is required to reproduce his brilliant performance last start.
