Aberdeen Queen at Belmont Park, Winter Racing Season 2020

The Queen returns

Having started her career impressively with four victories from eight starts, four-year-old mare Aberdeen Queen will step out at Ascot on Wednesday for the first time this preparation.

By Universal Ruler, she has already shown that she enjoys racing on rain effected tracks with three victories from four starts.

Former Victorian apprentice Carleen Hefel will ride for her new master Lindsey Smith, taking a valuable three-kilos off the allocated weight.

Hefel has picked up some nice rides for the mid-week card, with many of the local trainers looking to capitlise on her claim and experience.
