Beret (yellow and black colours) backs up seven days after placing third behind Bobcat Johnnie and Warbler

Punting Form race reports: Wednesday 11 September

Jade McNaught can do little wrong at the moment and, according to Punting Form, she is the rider most likely to be aboard the winner of Wednesday's first race at Belmont Park, the Free Entry To Belmont Park Maiden over 1,400 metres.

McNaught, who leads the Western Australian metropolitan jockey premiership on 10 city victories, teams up with Adam Durrant-trained filly Beret again, one week after they placed third in what was a relatively high-rating maiden. Beret posted the fastest last 200m sectional time of the TABtouch - Better Your Bet Maiden and, if the three-year-old daughter of Helmet and Irish Hut, registers a Punting Form rating close to her last-start figure of -2.8 lengths, she will be difficult to beat given the exposed form of her Free Entry To Belmont Park Maiden rivals.
