Sir Mambo is the top weight in Wednesday's Peninsula Dining Room at Belmont Park
Martin Allan has two runners engaged in Wednesday's Peninsula Dining Room at Belmont Park and, according to Punting Form, Sir Mambo boasts recent better figures than not only She's A Galah but also the other gallopers which may race.
Sir Mambo did not parlay his Pinjarra Park maiden victory into a Belmont Park handicap win but his last-start second placing - his first appearance with Chris Parnham on his back - produced his best Punting Form rating. Sir Mambo, which has not finished outside the top two in any of his five races this year, has to carry 0.5 kilograms more than Gillespie but, while the latter's Punting Form personal best is 2.9 lengths better than that of the former, the Liz Strempel-trained sprinter has been a little bit disappointing twice since resuming last month.
