Deimos is seeking to make it back-to-back wins this campaign
Punting Form's ratings suggest backing several Hyperion Stakes Day runners but, while Baron Bostock and Essential Spice merit honourable mentions, the standout galloper is Deimos, which is set to contest the Events at Ascot Handicap.
Deimos made a very favourable impression when he overcame being wide in the run to take out the Free Entry To Belmont Park Handicap first up in his second preparation. Deimos, which is lightly raced for a rising six-year-old gelding, boasts the best two-year Punting Form rating of the Events at Ascot Handicap field and his last-start performance was almost identical to that of Stoicism. Jumping from one of the outside gates did not stop Deimos registering a Wednesday win and he looks hard to beat in Saturday's higher-grade race.
