Unending has won only two of her 25 races so her followers are a long way behind on the punt but she was huge in defeat in a strong event during Belmont Park's first meeting this year, a runner-up effort that was too good to ignore.
According to Punting Form, Unending's last-start performance was the best of Wednesday's Schweppes Handicap field and she put up her -0.9 overall rating despite being wide all the way backing up on a three-day turnaround. Also, Unending's two-year Punting Form personal best of -6.9 is the joint highest of the Schweppes Handicap entries plus the Colin Webster-trained mare maps well from her barrier.
