No Supremacy Stakes Day galloper ran faster late sectionals than TABtouch - Better Your Bet Handicap winner Pym's Royale (dark blue and white colours)

Punting Form race reports: Saturday 30 March

Pym's Royale has won seven of his 10 races since joining Peter Fernie's stable from the yard of Grant and Alana Williams and, if he runs home in Saturday's Seppelt Wines Handicap on City of Belmont WA Oaks Day at Ascot Racecourse anything like as well as he finished off his first-up assignment three weeks ago, he will take a lot of beating even though he encounters several talented rivals.

According to Punting Form, Pym's Royale registered the fastest last 200 metres, last 400 metres and last 600 metres of the Supremacy Stakes meeting at Ascot Racecourse, a feat made all the more impressive by the fact he was carrying 60 kilograms and the TABtouch - Better Your Bet Handicap was run in such a way that those gallopers which were positioned off the speed had to catch leaders which had stolen some cheap early splits. Pym's Royale's Punting Form personal best rating is inferior to most of his Seppelt Wines Handicap opponents but there was so much to like about his return performance and not only Fernie but also Mitchell Pateman has a very high opinion of the four-year-old son of Husson.
