He is not in the same class as his sister but Arcadia Prince is a handy galloper in his own right and, after overcoming an unsuitably slow tempo two weeks ago, he should be too good for his Crown Towers Handicap rivals on Saturday.
According to Punting Form, Arcadia Prince's last 600 metres sectional time in winning his most recent assignment was 8.9 lengths faster than benchmark and, quite simply, only a very talented galloper would have been able to win from where he was as the field turned for home. Another last-start winner, Spillinova, maps well in Saturday's Crown Towers Handicap but Arcadia Prince should be sufficiently close to him from his favourable barrier to get the chocolates once again.
