Dance Music can defeat WA Sires' Produce Stakes winner Lordhelpmerun (light blue and red colours) on the latter's return to racing

Punting Form race reports: Saturday 29 September

Dance Music is set to take a big step up in class at Belmont Park on Saturday but, according to Punting Form's benchmark ratings, she is more than capable of returning WA Sires' Produce Stakes winner Lordhelpmerun and taking out the race of the day, the Happy 90th Birthday Leo Loughnan Plate.

Simon Miller and William Pike is a trainer-rider combination that commands respect and they have teamed up with Dance Music for wide-margin maiden and Class One victories at Northam and Belmont Park respectively. The Punting Form figures out of Dance Music's Belmont Park win were very good, particularly when factoring in that no galloper finished within three and a half lengths of her and, consequently, she raced home under minimal pressure.

Lordhelpmerun boasts the Happy 90th Birthday Leo Loughnan Plate's best speed rating but he achieved that Punting Form mark in the Amelia Park-Karrakatta Plate third up in his first preparation whereas he will be first up if he takes his place in Saturday's field over the 1,200 metres trip.
