Abdicator was an emphatic Belmont Park winner last weekend
Abdicator is a star on the rise and, according to Punting Form, he is the most likely winner of the TABtouch Handicap over 1,600 metres at Belmont Park on Saturday when the 2017-2018 Western Australian thoroughbred racing season draws to a close, at least with regards to metropolitan meetings.
The equation for Abdicator is similar to the one he encountered last weekend: barrier one, William Pike in the saddle and a probable soft-rated Belmont Park track. Abdicator recorded a new Punting Form personal best rating in winning the Quayclean Handicap over 1,400m and, provided he handles the step up in trip and the seven-day turnaround, he should be mighty hard to beat as the three-year-old son of Universal Ruler and Royal Escapade tries for his sixth victory.
